The
regulations are assembled in a document comprised of several chapters on ethics,
exams, repeating of courses, grades, etc. It
is possible to have access to this document by submitting a written request to
the College.
Course
evaluation:
Students
are invited to provide feedback about the courses, the content, clinical
assimilation, supporting documents, etc. It
is then given to a class representative who then transmits the information to
the Academic Counsel.
Special
requests:
Wherever
possible the courses are organised to respect customs, traditions and religious
holidays. If, however, a student is
still unable attend a course, the College will provide
the necessary support. This can be
accomplished through participating in the course at another College within the
Association of Traditional Osteopathic Colleges.
Specific
support to students:
The
College can supply a majority of course material in French, English or German. The students can write exams and perform oral presentations, clinical
evaluation exams, clinical days, and thesis work in either French, English or
German.
Students
with dyslexia will be allotted additional time to complete the required work. Students who are visually impaired may have an assistant of their choice,
to help respond to written questions.
Students
who need osteopathic treatment have priority as patients within clinical days
and can also receive treatment by a professor or supervised students during
practice sessions.
How
to make a specific request:
Communication
with the College can be done via e-mail or by telephone to the person responsible for academics, finances or operations, depending on the nature of the inquiry.
