Our
institution is a private college of collective interest.
The
Academic Council
It comprises all the teachers of the College. Presently, 42 professors have been selected for their
competency and capability in sharing the necessary ‘know-how’ as well as their clinical experiences.
Objectives
and responsibilities
· develops the programs, academic rules, and curriculum
in order to facilitate the studies, helping students become more efficient and
qualified
· works in collaboration with the students’ representatives
and the Students’ Association of the College
· organises and runs the different academic events (exams,
thesis and thesis pre-lecture committees, juries, etc.)
· insures public’s safety and the promotion of quality
programs for the College
The
meetings are held 6 times per year and students are invited to come and give
their commentaries and ideas, to help improve the quality of student life and
the reputation of the College.

Education

grow, replenish, share, become more efficient with your patients.
At
the beginning of each academic year, the members of the College receive a detailed
continuing education program, with the seminar titles and guest speaker names.
Much appreciated by osteopaths and students, we offer over thirty different,
practical workshops with top world-wide
specialists. They are held in the cities of Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Vancouver
and in Europe.
General
objectives:
· allows students and osteopaths to deepen their knowledge,
improve their palpation and acquire new therapeutic methods in Osteopathy
· proposes a wide variety of subjects so that every Osteopath
can find something to their liking, as well as evolve and continuously replenish
their knowledge
· offers students the opportunity to meet experienced
Osteopaths, capable of giving them means to broaden their horizons and knowledge
The
results:
Since 1984, we have welcomed 142 professors and guest
speakers from the United States, Europe and Canada. We have recorded an exceptional rate of satisfaction from all the participants,
from an academic content point of view as well as an organisational standpoint.
