Depending on their academic record, such students may be required to follow the pre-admissions program.
Prerequisites:
In order to enter the study of osteopathic manual practice, the candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
o Holders of a university degree (in medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sports and athletic therapy, chiropractic, kinesiology, physical therapist, doctors in acupuncture) directly access the program of study in osteopathic manual practice.
o Registered Massage therapists are required to follow a pre-admissions program in basic health sciences. They must have a minimum of 2200 hours of training.
Upon completion of their osteopathic studies, students must write and successfully defend an osteopathic thesis before receiving the title of D.O.M.P. (Diploma of Osteopathy, Manual Practice).
Foreign candidates:
• Foreign candidates holding a recognized diploma are accepted.
• The admissions committee may review the files of other candidates
