House of Osteopathy
The House of Osteopathy
The first clinic of traditional Osteopathy in Québec.

This house, built in 1901 and located at 5637 Stirling Avenue was acquired from the Montfortains Fathers in 1983. We had open classes for last year students, administrative offices for the College and many osteopaths began their career within its splendid walls.
In 1985, the Foundation began treating handicapped children. Denyse Dufresne, D.O., present president of the Foundation was instrumental in organizing these sessions with teachers volunteering to help those needy children.
Dressed with magnificent woodwork and sculpted pillars, the House hosts twelve osteopaths and their patients and allows the Foundation to honor its endeavor.
In 1986, the House of Osteopathy was awarded the City of Montréal Heritage Prize.
